The Technical Uninersity of Varna (TUV) was founded in 1962 as a Higher Institute of Mechanical and Elecrical Engineering – Varna. Ever since its establishment, the univeristy has been providing education for the engineering teams in the shipbuilding industry. Furthermore, TUV follows a specific mission – ‘to integrate in a single process the education of engineers and the conduct of scientific research in the fields of shipbuilding and marine technologies, navigation and water transport, ecology and engineering technologies for sea environment’.
In order to achieve its mission, TUV Varna offers leading education and is divided into four faculties – Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Technologies, Faculty of Shipbuilding, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Faculty of Computer Sciences and Automation. The university welcomes international students and provides various English-taught bachelor, master and PhD programmes as well as Erasmus+ exchanges and interesting practices.
