We won’t exaggerate if we say that there are countless reasons to choose Sofia and its oldest university. Intercultural, bustling and enchanting, the capital of Bulgaria has a lot to offer – historical spots, cultural events, captivating mountains, upscale restaurants, bars and many more. It truly is a city where everyone can find himself and feel good. For example, one can find four houses of worship for different religions positioned very close to each other. The Saint Nedelya Orthodox church, the Saint Joseph Catholic Cathedral, the Sofia Synagogue and the Banya Bashi Mosque assemble the so-called Square of Religious Tolerance, which is another confirmation that Sofia welcomes all nations and races in its multicultural embrace.
