The National Sports Academy (NSA) is the only university in Bulgaria for sport, physical education and kinesitherapy. Established in 1942, NSA is amongst the most prestigious higher education institutions for sport in Europe. Moreover, its full accreditation provided by the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation of the Republic of Bulgaria is a validation for its leading position as a scientific center for sport and sports education research.
NSA has three faculties – Faculty of Sport, Faculty of Pedagogy and Faculty of Public Health, Health Care and Tourism. Every year, the university welcomes many Bulgarian and foreign students and offers different bachelor, master and PhD programmes.
